Toyota, the Japanese car maker has launched in India the much awaited mid-sized sedan, the Yaris at the price tag of Rs. 8.75 lakh (ex-showroom, India). Toyota Yaris is launched in four trims, and is available in both manual and automatic transmission options for the entire lineup. However, there is no diesel engine in the list.
The car comes with many first-in-class features such as seven airbags, gesture control power adjustable driver seat etc. The design of the all-new Toyota Yaris is borrowed from sibling Corolla Altis, however, its competition in the Indian market will be mainly with the mid-sized sedans like Honda City, Maruti Ciaz, Volkswagen Vento, Hyundai Verna and Skoda Rapid.
Featuring the awe-inspiring design, Toyota Yaris was earlier unveiled at the Indian Auto Expo 2018. What makes the car looks classy from outside are the sleek headlights, LED DRLs, dual tone bumper and fluidic tail lights. You can call it a mini Corolla.
