Latest Versions of Aprilia RSV4 and Tuono 1100 Goes on Sale in India

2021 Aprilia Tuono V4 Factory

Aprilia has brought in the updated version of its flagship range of sports bikes in the Indian market, the RSV4 super sport and Tuono 1100 naked roadster. With revised styling and upgraded mechanicals, the new Aprilia RSV4 and Tuono 1100 were announced for India in the month of April 2021, with Aprilia taking bookings for the motorcycle since then.

2021 Aprilia RSV4 and Tuono 1100: Prices and Variants

Aprilia has priced the RSV4 at Rs. 23.69 lakh, while the Tuono 1100 has been priced at Rs. 20.66 lakh (both prices ex-showroom, India). Both the Aprilia RSV4 and Tuono 1100 will be brought to India via the CBU route. Both these motorcycles can be booked at any of the authorized dealership of Aprilia across the country.

2021 Aprilia RSV4

The new Aprilia RSV4 now comes with heavy revisions to its overall styling and equipment levels. The motorcycle continues to get triple-headlamp arrangement, which now are sleeker and full LEDs, with sleeker daytime running LEDs. The fuel tank, full fairing and pointy tail section too have been tweaked to make the motorcycle look sharper. The front fairing now gets winglets as well, with the motorcycle also getting an all new full TFT colored instrument console.

The engine employed for the new Aprilia RSV4 is a four-stroke, liquid cooled, 1099cc V4 engine, which makes 217 PS of maximum power output and 125 Nm of maximum torque output. The equipment list is bettered as well, with it getting six-axis IMU, six riding modes (three for track and three for road), multi-level engine brake control, traction control, ABS, wheelie control, launch control, speed limiter and cruise control.

The new Aprilia RSV4 continues to get mechanicals inspired from Aprilia’s Moto GP machine, with it getting 43mm upside down telescopic forks from Ohlins and an adjustable Ohlins monoshock, both of which get compression and rebound adjustability. Braking combination is made up of 330mm dual discs at the front and a 220mm disc at the rear, which get Brembo Stylema calipers and dual channel ABS.

The new Aprilia Tuono V4 has been designed on the lines of the smaller Tuono 660, making it look sleeker than ever before. The major changes to its design include a completely new front fascia with sleeker looking triple-LED headlamps with daytime running LEDs and winglets attached in the front semi-fairing. The fuel tank and tail section too have become sleeker and more aerodynamic in the process of upgrade.

The Aprilia Tuono V4 is powered by a four storke, liquid cooled, 1077cc V4 engine, which makes 175 PS of maximum power and 121 Nm of maximum torque. The other changes introduced to the powertrain is introduction of new 11MP ECU from Magneti Marelli and lighter exhaust system.

The rest of the mechanical hardware of the Aprilia Tuono V4 is shared with the RSV4, including the fully electronically adjustable Ohlins suspension and disc brakes with Brembo Stylema calipers. The Tuono V4 even shares its list of electronics with the RSV4, which means that it also gets six-axis IMU, six riding modes (three for track and three for road), wheelie control, launch control, multi-level engine brake control, traction control, ABS, speed limiter and cruise control.
