World’s Most Expensive Electric Car Revealed – Say Hello To Rimac Nevera!
Rimac Nevera, the world’s most expensive electric car has a top speed of 412 kmph and it covers the distance of 547 km in a single charge.
One of the newest car makers of the world, Rimac Automobiles from Croatia has lifted off the curtains from its first-ever offering, the Nevera. The Rimac Nevera is the final production version of the C_Two electric supercar prototype and seeks an inspiration from a Mediterranean storm that occurs in the coastlines of Croatia. Rimac has announced the price of the Nevera electric supercar as well, which will set one back by 2 million Euros (almost Rs. 17.8 Crores).
Numbers to take note of:
Apart from its scintillation design, the Rimac Nevera promises some really impressive performance figures to make sure everyone stands up and takes notice of it. This all-electric supercar can reach 100 kmph from standstill in just 1.85 seconds, while the 0-300 kmph sprint can be covered in only 9.3 seconds. While the top speed of Rimac Nevera is rated at 412 kmph, the supercar can cover a distance of 547 km in a single charge.
Super light and technologically rich battery:
The Rimac Nevera is a super light weighted performance-oriented car with promising aerodynamics. The frame of this electric supercar weighs at just 200 kgs, thanks to a super rigid but extremely lightweight carbon fibre construction, which uses 2,200 carbon fibre plies and 22 aluminium inserts. The 120kWh battery pack of the Rimac Nevera is shaped in the form of an ‘H’ and consists of almost 7,000 cells. It also features an advanced liquid cooling setup, in order to facilitate better power delivery for prolonged durations.
Technically superior driving prowess:
The Rimac Nevera is bestowed with active aero on the underside, front bonnet, rear diffuser and rear wing, which gives it a supremely planted driving experience. Compared to the C-Two concept on which it is based, the production version of Rimac Nevera promises better aerodynamic efficiency by almost 34 percent.
The Rimac Nevera is bestowed with an all-wheel torque vectoring 2 (R-AWTV 2) system, which is a more efficient system than the now conventional electronic stability program and traction control systems. This results in a much more advanced grip and traction while driving.
