Indian FTR 1200 S and FTR 1200 Race Replica Launched in India

Indian Motorcycle has tagged the FTR 1200 S at a price of Rs. 15.99 lakh whereas, the FTR 1200 RR is priced at Rs. 17.99 lakh (Ex-showroom, India prices mentioned).

Indian Motorcycle has launched two of its much-awaited bikes, the FTR 1200 S and the FTR 1200 RR (Race Replica) in India. Indian FTR 1200 S is priced at Rs. 15.99 lakh (Ex-showroom, India) whereas Indian FTR 1200 Race Replica is priced at Rs. 17.99 lakh (Ex-showroom, India).

Buyers can book either of the Indian FTR 1200 trims at all the Indian Motorcycle dealerships by paying a token amount of Rs. 2 lakh. Presented at the launch were actor R Madhavan and Pankaj Dubey MD, Polaris, India. Both of them were wearing Indian FTR 1200 branded t-shirts.

As far as the engine is concerned, the FTR 1200 S is powered by a 1203 cc V-Twin engine that is capable to churn maximum power of 120 bhp and maximum torque of 112.5 Nm. The engine is linked to a 6-speed gearbox and the bike can run on three riding modes which are Sport, Standard and Rain.
The FTR 1200 S is introduced with a long list of premium features. Some of them include Bosch Stability Control with 6-axis Inertial Sensor, Lean Angle Sensitive Stability Control, Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) etc.

Other key features of the bike highlighted at the launch include 4.3 inches touchscreen LCD display (with music sync, phone sync, USB fast charger + data link), painted headlight Nacelle, fully adjustable Gold Forks, fully adjustable rear shock etc.

The FTR 1200 looks very stunning and is offered in exciting colour options: Race-Replica, Titanium Metallic over Thunder Black Pearl and Indian Motorcycle Red over Steel Grey.
