Maxxis Partners With Honda Two-Wheelers To Provide ‘Extramaxx’ Tyres Honda Hornet 2.0

Maxxis India, one of the fastest-growing tyre brands in India has confirmed its association with Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India. Maxxis is the exclusive OEM partner for the newly launched Honda Hornet 2.0.

The all-new Honda Hornet 2.0 BSVI comes fitted with Maxxis branded ‘Extramaxx’ tyres for both front as well as rear wheels. The front Maxxis tyre is sized 110/70-17 and the rear tyre is sized 140/70-17.

The Extramaxx tyre will offer smooth ride during long journeys on tough terrains to the riders of all-new Honda Hornet 2.0. It is amongst the best in industry products and is built using the world’s strongest aramid fibre which ensures better control and reduces the chances of punctures. This fibre is also used for making bulletproof vests.

The Maxxis Extramaxx motorcycle tyre also features dual compound composition that minimises rolling resistance and improves stability as well as tyre life. As compared to an ordinary tyre, the Extramaxx tyre is two times stronger due to its unique ‘Carcass Breaker’ structure. The rear Extramaxx tyre has specialized compound on the sidewalls that provides higher traction and improved control during cornering. In addition, the super wide and flattened structure of the of this motorcycle tyre builds a larger contact patch that provides better road grip and improved handling at high speeds.

Mr Bing-Lin Wu, Marketing Head, Maxxis India, stated that the brand is very excited about this new forged association with Honda Hornet 2.0. He added that the Hornet 2.0 motorbike has already generated a lot of anticipation in the Indian two-wheeler market and the Extramaxx tyres will further improve the riding experience.
