There’s a new parametric jewel pattern grille that is extended downwards towards the front bumper (very much like Hyundai Venue) and also there are appealing triangular air vents that house fog lamps. Besides these, the robust and prominent hood character lines perfectly complement the bold and widestance of the next-generation i20.

It is available in 83ps 1.2-litre Kappa petrol, 100ps 1.5-litre U2 CRDi diesel and 1.0-litre turbo GDI petrol engine choices, borrowed from Hyundai Venue. While the 1.2-litre Kappa petrol trims are available in 5-speed MT and iVT gearbox choices, the 1.5-litre U2 CRDi diesel engine trims are offered with 6-speed manual transmission gearbox. The other, 1.0-litre turbo GDI petrol engine is offered with iMT and 7-speed DCT gearbox choices.

The next-generation model of Hyundai i20 also gets an all-new premium interior coloured in black. There is a new dashboard with sleek horizontal lines that houses a total of 4 air vents. Besides this, the instrument cluster of the 2020 Hyundai i20 is fully digital.
The key highlight inside the new-gen Hyundai i20 is its largest-in-segment 10.25 inches touchscreen infotainment and navigation system. Price-wise, not cheaper than Maruti Baleno and Tata Altroz
The prices of the all-new Hyundai i20 start at Rs 6,79,900 and go up to Rs 11,17,900 (ex-showroom, India). Well, the car comes loaded with an array of exciting features that you only get in some of the expensive premium cars, hence from Hyundai’s point of view, the prices could be justified. But, a buyer would also compare these prices with that of Maruti Suzuki Baleno and Tata Altroz, where these two key rivals will appear to be a more affordable option.
