A majority of the body panels of the Ducati Superleggera V4, including various parts of the front fairing, front fender, winglets, headlamp casings and tail piece are made up of carbon fiber. The Ducati Superleggera V4 sources its power from a four-stroke, liquid cooled, 90-degree V4, 998cc engine. While it might not be the largest engine in the category of liter class super sport motorcycles, it certainly ranks in a high order when it comes to pure performance on offer.

The 999cc engine of the Ducati Superleggera V4 is capable of putting up a maximum power output of 224 bhp, which goes up to 234 bhp @ 15,500 rpm with the full racing exhaust option. This makes it the most powerful liter class super sport engine in its category. The torque output too is quite healthy at 119 Nm @ 11,500 rpm.

It’s Got Top Notch Mechanical Hardware

The Ducati Superleggera V4 is the best super sport the Italian bike maker has come up with till date. To match the aggression and sophistication in its styling and engine, the other mechanical setup of hardware too is of higher order. The Ducati Superleggera V4 runs on specially designed Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP tyres, which are exclusively made only for this motorcycle using a special type of compound.

In addition, the Ducati Superleggera V4 also gets 43mm Ohlins NPX25/30 upside down hydraulic telescopic forks at the front and Ohlins TTX36 monoshock with carbon fiber swingarm at the rear. Both these front and rear suspension units are fully adjustable. The bike also gets specially designed light-weight 5-spoke carbon fiber 17-inch wheels.
