2020 Hyundai Verna Facelift Launched at INR 9.30 Lakh (Ex-showroom, Delhi)
New 2020 Hyundai Verna is available in 3 BS6 engine choices and gets an all-new front fascia. The 2020 Verna Facelift is offered in four variants which are S, S+, SX and SX(O).
Hyundai Motor India has launched the facelifted Hyundai Verna 2020 at the starting price of Rs 9.30 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). This refreshed 2020 Hyundai Verna now features various best-in-segment and first-in-segment features. In the year 2020, the new Verna facelift is the third biggest launch by the car maker after the 2020 Hyundai Creta (second-generation) and Hyundai Aura.
Facelifted Hyundai Verna 2020 will compete against cars like Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, Skoda Rapid, Volkswagen Vento and the upcoming fifth-generation Honda City. Hyundai Motor India opened the bookings of 2020 Hyundai Verna in the month of March as this car was then planned to be launched in the same month, but due to COVID-19, the launch of this sedan was postponed.
Exterior
The 2020 Hyundai Verna facelift sees a major change on the front fascia where it gets a new dark chrome grille along with new LED headlamps and LED DRLs. The bumper at the front also gets revamped and now houses new LED fog lamps.
Likewise, the rear too gets nicely tweaked with the all-new bumper, LED tail lights and twin tip muffler. The appeal of the sides too is raised by the introduction of new diamond cut alloy wheels.
Interior & Features
Inside the 2020 Verna facelift, you’ll notice things which are premium in quality. Gadget lovers will be highly impressed by the newly incorporated 8.0-inch touchscreen AVNT with HD display. Similarly, the digital instrument panel having 4.2-inch colour TFT MID is another key highlight that you notice while sitting on the driver’s seat.

The 2020 Hyundai Verna facelift is available in 3 engine choices that are BS6 compliant — 1.5 litre petrol BS6 (115ps peak power and 144Nm peak torque), 1.5 litre diesel BS6 (115ps peak power and 250Nm peak torque) and 1.0 litre turbo GDI petrol BS6 (120ps peak power and 172Nm peak torque). As far as the transmission choices are concerned, the 1.5 litre petrol BS6 engine is available with either a 6-speed MT gearbox or an IVT gearbox, while the 1.5 litre diesel BS6 engine is offered with either a 6-speed MT gearbox or an AT gearbox. The 1.0 litre turbo GDI petrol engine gets a 7-speed DCT gearbox.
