CF Moto Brings in BS6 Versions of its 650cc Motorcycles

Following the launch of the BS6-compliant 300NK after a long pause of almost a year since the BS6 deadline came into effect, CF Moto has expanded its lineup for the Indian market with three new BS6-compliant 650cc motorcycles. The new motorcycles of CF Moto’s 650cc lineup consist of 650NK, 650MT and 650GT.

While the CF Moto 650NK has been priced at Rs. 4.29 lakh, the CF Moto 650MT is dearer by a lakh at Rs. 5.29 lakh. The range topping CF Moto 650GT will set one back by Rs. 5.59 lakh. All of these motorcycles can be booked at a token amount of Rs. 5,000 at the company’s official website or across the five authorized dealerships of CF Moto in India.

CF Moto 650NK: Highlights

The CF Moto 650NK is the most affordable middleweight offering from the company, and is a naked roadster meant for sporty urban riding. Compared to the BS4 model which was available previously, the new BS6 version of the 650NK is pricier by Rs. 30,000. There is a minor change to the 649.3cc inline twin engine of the 650NK compared to its erstwhile BS4 iteration, as it puts up lesser performance numbers than before – 56 bhp @ 8,250 rpm of maximum power and 54.4 Nm @ 7,000 rpm of peak torque. The BS4 model, in comparison, used to make 61 bhp @ 9,000 rpm of power and 56 Nm @ 7,000 rpm of torque. However, there are no changes to the equipment list and other specifications of the CF Moto 650NK.

CF Moto 650MT: Highlights

The adventure tourer version of the 650NK, the CF Moto 650MT comes with a semi-faired design, long travel suspension and high ground clearance over the naked 650 NK, which gives it a stance of an adventure tourer. Like the 650NK, the 650 MT too retains the original design and list of features from the BS4 model, with the latter having bits like LED headlamps, adjustable windscreen and knuckle guards on handlebar. The CF Moto 650MT shares its engine with the 650NK in same state of tune – 56 bhp @ 8,250 rpm of maximum power and 54.4 Nm @ 7,000 rpm of peak torque, which is 15 bhp less and 7.6 Nm less than the engine in the BS4 version of the 650MT.

CF Moto 650GT: Highlights

The range topping CF Moto 650GT is a fully faired sport tourer, with heavily revised bodywork, suspension travel and seating ergonomics as compared to the other two motorcycles mentioned above. The new BS6 version of the 650GT continues to get attractive features as before, such as split LED headlamps with L-shaped daytime running lights, large full fairing and adjustable windshield, USB charging port and 5.0-inch full TFT instrument console with two display modes of Touring and Sport. The same engine which powers the 650NK and 650MT is present there in the 650GT as well – 56 bhp @ 8,250 rpm of maximum power and 54.4 Nm @ 7,000 rpm of peak torque. These specs make it 6 bhp less and 4.1 Nm less than the engine of the BS4-spec 650GT.
