Current Offers on New Cars

With the arrival of October, the festive season starts in full swing, which is considered to be the time when the market is in a full swing with maximum demand among car buyers. Following the ritual, various car makers have come up with some lucrative offers.

All the offers have been announced, even though the entire automotive industry is facing a crisis of shortage of semi-conductor chips which has resulted in supply constraints and an unprecedented drop in production. Here is the list of current offers on new cars for the month of October from some of the prominent car makers of India:

Maruti Suzuki

Maruti Suzuki Alto

Maruti Suzuki has already announced massive cuts in its production volumes and even has postponed the launch of all-new second-generation Celerio hatchback in the process. However, the rest of the range is being offered with a host of discounts, which are as follows –

  • Alto 800 – Apart from a standard Rs 15,000 exchange bonus across all the variants of the Alto 800, the non-AC and AC variants are offered with Rs 20,000 and Rs 25,000 cash discounts respectively.
  • S-Presso – The quirky-looking hatchback is offered with Rs 15,000 exchange bonus and Rs 30,000 cash discount.
  • Eeco – The compact entry-level passenger van is available with a Rs 5,000 cash discount and Rs 10,000 exchange bonus.
  • WagonR – A cash discount of Rs 5,000 and an exchange bonus of Rs 10,000 is being offered on WagonR.
  • Swift – The high selling hatchback is available with a cash discount of Rs 12,000 and an exchange bonus of Rs 10,000.
  • Dzire – The sedan version of the Swift is being offered with a cash discount of Rs 7,000 and an exchange bonus of Rs 10,000.
  • Vitara Brezza – The only two offers available on the highest-selling sub-four-metre SUV are a Rs 5,000 cash discount and a Rs 10,000 exchange bonus.
  • Ignis – The most affordable offering from the NEXA chain of Maruti Suzuki is offered with a Rs 5,000 cash discount and Rs 10,000 exchange bonus.
  • Baleno – While the CVT variants of the Baleno are offered with only a Rs 10,000 exchange bonus, the manual variants are also available with Rs 10,000 cash discount in addition.
  • Ciaz – The flagship sedan from Maruti Suzuki is available only with an exchange bonus of Rs 25,000.
  • S-Cross – The S-Cross can be had with a Rs 15,000 cash discount and Rs 25,000 exchange bonus.

All the variants of Ertiga and XL6 as well as CNG variants of Alto 800, S-Presso and Eeco are not available with any kind of offers.

Hyundai

Hyundai Santro

Hyundai is one carmaker that usually offers discounts and schemes throughout the year. The Korean carmaker has come up with some attractive deals for the festive season as well, which are as follows:

  • Santro – A corporate discount of Rs 5,000 and an exchange bonus of Rs 10,000 is standard across all the variants. In addition to these, while the Era petrol variant is available with Rs 10,000 cash discount, other petrol variants can be had with a Rs 25,000 cash discount.
  • Grand i10 Nios and Aura – There are no offers on the diesel variants of the Grand i10 Nios and Aura. However, the petrol and CNG variants of both the cars are available with an exchange bonus of Rs 10,000 and a corporate discount of Rs 5,000. In addition to these, while the 1.2-litre petrol variants are being offered with a cash discount of Rs 10,000, the turbo-petrol variants are available with Rs 35,000 cash discount.
  • i20 – Currently, there are no offers on the N Line, DCT turbo and 1.2-litre petrol variants of the i20. However, the IMT turbo and diesel variants are available with Rs 10,000 exchange bonus and Rs 5,000 corporate discount. In addition, a cash discount of Rs 25,000 is offered on IMT turbo variants.
  • Kona EV – The remaining stock of 2020 year-make Kona EV is available with a flat cash discount of Rs 1.5 lakh.

There are no offers available for Venue, Verna, Creta, Elantra and Tucson.

Tata Motors

While the new offers on models of Tata Motors are not as big as how they used to be in erstwhile festive seasons, they are available with decent schemes, which are as follows:

  • Tiago and Tigor – All the variants of both these cars are available with Rs 10,000 cash discount. There are additional offers of a Rs 15,000 exchange bonus and a Rs 3,000 cash discount for COVID warriors on all the variants of Tigor and XE and XT Option variants of Tiago. The XT, XZ and XZ Plus variants can be had with a lesser exchange bonus of Rs 10,000, but they are not offered with cash discount for COVID warriors.
  • Nexon – While the petrol variants of the Nexon are offered with just a corporate bonus of Rs 3,000, the diesel-powered variants are offered with a Rs 5,000 additional cash discount for COVID-19 warriors and a Rs 15,000 exchange bonus.
  • Harrier – Only an exchange bonus of Rs 15,000 is available on the Harrier.

There are no offers on Tigor EV, Nexon EV, Altroz and Safari.

Honda

Honda Amaze Facelift Trims Compared

Honda too is offering a few discounts on its reduced range of mass-market offerings, which are as follows:

  • Amaze and fourth-generation City – All the variants of facelifted Amaze and fourth-generation City can be had with a Honda to Honda exchange loyalty of Rs 9,000 and Rs 5,000 loyalty bonus.
  • Jazz – The offers available on premium hatchback from Honda are Rs 15,000 cash discount, Rs 10,000 exchange bonus, Rs 5,000 loyalty bonus and Rs 9,000 Honda to Honda exchange loyalty bonus.
  • WR-V – The rugged-looking version of the Jazz hatchback too is offered with Rs 10,000 cash discount, Rs 10,000 exchange bonus, Rs 5,000 loyalty bonus and Rs 9,000 Honda to Honda exchange loyalty bonus.
  • Fifth-generation City – The current flagship offering from Honda can be had with a Rs 20,000 cash discount, Rs 5,000 exchange bonus, Rs 5,000 loyalty bonus and additional Honda-to-Honda exchange bonus of Rs 9,000.

Mahindra

2021 Mahindra Bolero Review Latest Model

Like in every year, Mahindra has also put up some lucrative deals on most of its models this festive season as well, which are as follows:

  • Bolero – A Rs 3,000 corporate discount and cash discount of Rs 10,000 are available across all the variants of Bolero.
  • XUV300 – All the variants of XUV300 are available with a Rs 20,000 exchange bonus, Rs 4,000 corporate discount and cash discounts of up to Rs 15,000.
  • Marazzo – Apart from a standard Rs 5,200 corporate discount, cash discounts of Rs 20,000 on the M2 variant and Rs 15,000 on M4 and M6 variants of Marazzo are on offer.
  • Scorpio – All the variants of Scorpio are being offered with a corporate discount of Rs 4,000. There is an additional cash discount of Rs 10,000 on the higher S9 and S11 variants.
  • XUV500 – The outgoing XUV500 is available with some big discounts like cash discounts of up to Rs 2 lakh, an exchange bonus of Rs 50,000 and a corporate discount of Rs 6,500.
  • KUV100 – Offers like a Rs 38,000 cash discount and a corporate discount of Rs 3,000 are available on the low selling KUV100.
  • Alturas – Only a corporate discount of Rs 11,500 is available on the flagship offering of Mahindra.

There are no offers on the Bolero Neo, Thar and recently launched XUV700.

Renault

2021 Renault Kwid New Features Specs

The completely refreshed lineup of Renault is also available with some attractive deals:

  • Kwid 0.8-litre – Except for the base RXE variant, all the variants of Kwid are available with a cash discount of Rs 10,000 and a corporate discount of Rs 10,000. In addition to these, there is an exchange bonus of Rs 15,000 on 0.8-litre variants and Rs 20,000 on 1-litre variants.
  • Triber – The RXL, RXT and RXZ variants are available with a Rs 10,000 corporate discount and exchange bonus of Rs 25,000. The cash discounts are Rs 10,000 for the RXL variant and Rs 15,000 for RXT and RXZ variants.
  • Duster – All the variants of Duster are offered with a cash discount of Rs 50,000, a corporate discount of Rs 30,000 and an exchange bonus of Rs 50,000.
  • Kiger – Only the RXT Turbo MT variants of Kiger are available with free accessories worth Rs 10,000.

Toyota

Toyota Glanza

While there are no offers on the original products from Toyota like Innova Crysta, Fortuner, Camry and Vellfire, the rebadged offerings from Maruti Suzuki under Toyota’s umbrella are offered with the following discounts:

  • Glanza – While the G variants of the hatchback are available with a cash discount of Rs 10,000 and Rs 10,000 exchange bonus, the V variants can be had with a cash discount of Rs 15,000 and exchange bonus of Rs 5,000.
  • Urban Cruiser – Only an exchange bonus of Rs 15,000 is available on the Urban Cruiser.

Volkswagen

Volkswagen Polo Comfortline Automatic

Volkswagen is betting high on the recently launched Taigun SUV, which isn’t available with any kind of offer. Even the CBU offerings like T-Roc and Taigu AllSpace are not available with festive deals. However, the deals on volume-oriented models like Polo and Vento are as follows:

  • Polo – Only a Rs 20,000 exchange bonus is available on all the variants of Polo.
  • Vento – The only sedan in Volkswagen’s lineup is offered with an exchange bonus of Rs 25,000.

Nissan

Nissan has bounced back with the Magnite, which is single-handedly responsible for driving Nissan’s sakes in India. To give a sales push to other models, Nissan has introduced various offers which are as follows:

  • Kicks – While the 1.5-litre petrol variants are available with up to Rs 50,000 dealer-end benefits and exchange bonus, this amount goes up to Rs 1 lakh for the 1.3-turbo petrol variants.

Datsun red-GO, Go and Go+ – The Datsun range of entry-level cars is available with benefits up to Rs 40,000, including Rs 20,000 exchange bonus.
