Datsun Redi GO 1.0 AMT Launch Date in India

Available only with the 1.0-litre engine, the Datsun Redigo AMT variant will command a premium of Rs 30,000 over its standard variant.

The Datsun Redigo AMT (automated manual transmission) is all-set to launch in India on January 22, 2018. The Redigo AMT price is expected to take a bump of Rs 30,000 over its corresponding variant. The entry-level hatch of Datsun is available only with the higher capacity 1.0-litre engine. The official Redi Go AMT bookings are also on at an upfront payment of Rs 10,000 at any Datsun dealership across the country. The cars have started to arrive at dealerships with the deliveries scheduled by the end of this month.

Datsun Redi Go AMT Prices

The Datsun Redigo AMT will borrow the 5-speed AMT unit of the Renault Kwid. The 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder engine generates max power of 67bhp at 5,500rpm and 91Nm of peak torque at 4,250rpm. With the higher capacity engine, the Redi-GO returns an impressive mileage of 22.5kmpl. The Redi-GO AMT mileage is also expected to fall in the same vicinity.

The quirky city car gets 185mm of ground clearance along with a decent boot space of 222 litres. Its feature list comprises of daytime running LED lights, body coloured bumpers, air-conditioner, keyless entry and music system with AUX/USB/CD/FM.

The Datsun Redi GO crosses swords with the Maruti Alto K10, Alto 800, Hyundai Eon and its cousin, Renault Kwid.
