Lamborghini Urus SUV Launched In India At Rs 3 Crore, Ex-showroom
The Italian carmaker has introduced the world’s fastest production UV, Lamborghini Urus SUV in the country at a whopping price of Rs 3 crores.
The luxury supercar maker Lamborghini has launched its much hyped car the Lamborghini Urus SUV in India at a price tag of Rs 3.0 Crore (ex-showroom, pan India). The Lamborghini Urus SUV shares the same platform that is currently being used by the biggies like the Bentley Bentayga, Audi A8 and Porsche Cayenne.

The name ‘Urus’ comes from the species of wild Ox, which is also called as the ancestor of modern domestic cattle. Powering the Urus is the giant 4.0L twin-turbo V8 mill that blow up a massive power output of 621bhp and highest torque of 850Nm. The power is distributed to all four wheels through the all-new AWD system and an 8-speed automatic transmission gearbox.

With front engine and an all-wheel-drive arrangement Lamborghini Urus SUV is capable of attaining a top speed of 305 kmph (190mph). This makes it the world’s fastest production SUV dethroning the Bentley Bentayga that clocks 301kmph (187mph). The Urus sprints from nothing to 100 kmph in mere 3.6 seconds and pounces on the 0-200 kmph mark in an incredible 12.8 seconds.

The 5-door mid-size luxury crossover SUV by Lamborghini is adorned by the ongoing design philosophy (as seen on the Huracan supercar) abided by the Sant’Agata Bolognese, Italy based sports cars maker. The first modern hyper SUV Lamborghini Urus has got the underpinnings of the MLB EVO platform. Going by the history, Urus is Italian manufacturer’s only second SUV, which comes out after a sizable gap of 25 years. The first SUV was Lamborghini LM002 that was discontinued in 1993. Lamborghini Urus SUV was initially showcased as a concept car at 2012 Beijing Auto Show.
