Ducati Panigale V4 Launched in India, Prices Start at Rs. 23.50 Lakh
The Panigale V4 has been launched in two different variants – the standard variant and the more premium and better equipped ‘S’ variant.
Ducati has expanded the Panigale lineup in the Indian two-wheeler market by launching the Panigale V4. The Ducati Panigale V4 has been launched in two different variants – while the standard variant gets the price point of Rs. 23.50 lakh, the more premium and better equipped ‘S’ variant will set one back by Rs. 28.40 lakh (both prices Ex-showroom, Delhi).
Both the variants of the Ducati Panigale V4 source their power from a common four-stroke, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected, 1103cc V4 engine, which has been tuned to comply with BS6 emission norms. Coupled to a 6-speed gearbox, this engine now makes a maximum power output of 214 PS @ 13,000 rpm, while the peak torque output is rated at 124 Nm @ 9,500 rpm.
The additional elements in the ‘S variant of the Ducati Panigale v4 which make it a more premium-priced package over the standard variant are forged aluminium wheels, electronically controlled suspension from Ohlins and a lithium-ion battery. All these alterations on the ‘S’ variant also manage to bring down the kerb weight (195 kg, as compared to 198 kg of standard variant).
However, both the variants of the Ducati Panigale V4 do share a common list of electronic riding aids, comprising of 6-axis Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU), cornering ABS EVO, Ducati Traction Control EVO, Ducati Stability Control, Ducati Wheelie Control EVO, Ducati Power Launch, Ducati Quick Shifter EVO, riding modes and Engine Braking Control EVO.
The Ducati Panigale V4 was updated in 2020 internationally with some additional changes over its already fantastic package. These changes included the addition of winglets on the fairing and tune-ups to is chassis and suspension, in order to enhance its riding dynamics.
The new Ducati Panigale V4 will be sitting above the Panigale V2 in Ducati’s lineup in India, which was launched only in 2020 with a BS6 compliant engine.
