Hyundai Alcazar Launch Prices Features Specs

Riding high on the consistent successful run of its SUV range, Hyundai has added a new SUV to its lineup, the all-new Alcazar. Essentially a six/seven seater version of the highly popular Creta, the new Hyundai Alcazar will be available with both petrol and diesel engine options, both of which are offered with manual and automatic transmissions. The prices of the new Hyundai Alcazar start at Rs. 16.30 lakh.

2021 Hyundai Alcazar – Exterior

The new Hyundai Alcazar takes a leaf from the design books of the Creta and adds in a whole lot of individualistic design cues. The new SUV from Hyundai gets full LED headlamps with daytime running LEDs, LED fog lamps, LED tail lamps, blacked out B and C pillars, cascading chrome grille with studded design, roof rails, puddle lamps with Hyundai logo projection, side foot-steps and 18-inch machined alloy wheels.

2021 Hyundai Alcazar – Interior

The Hyundai Alcazar gets more or less the same dashboard layout as that of the Hyundai Creta. However, the Alcazar will be offered with a standard black and brown upholstery option, with the higher versions getting leather upholstery as standard. The main highlights of the cabin happen to be the captain seats in the second row for 6-seater version and flat bench in the second row for 7-seater version.

Hyundai has heavily equipped the Alcazar with many segment-first features like fully digital 10.25-inch TFT instrument console with multiple display modes, rear window sunshades, premium 8-speaker audio system from BOSE, 64-color ambient lighting, front row sliding sun visor, auto healthy air purifier and front row seatback table with retractable cup-holder and IT device holder.

Other premium features present in the cabin of the Hyundai Alcazar are 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto, wireless charger for front and second rows (second row wireless charger only in 6-seater version), tilt and telescopic multi-functional flat bottom steering wheel, voice enabled panoramic sunroof, AC vents with individual controls for all three rows, push button start with keyless entry and drive and traction control modes.

2021 Hyundai Alcazar – Powertrain Options

The new Hyundai Alcazar has been made available in two engine options for both six and seven seater versions. There is a 2.0-liter four cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine, which makes 159 PS @ 6,500 rpm of maximum power and 191 Nm @ 4,500 rpm of maximum torque, and a 1.5-liter four cylinder diesel engine, which belts out 115 PS @ 4,000 rpm of maximum power and 250 Nm @ 1,500-2,750 rpm of maximum torque. Both these engine options can be had with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
