Mercedes AMG GT Black price in india

Mercedes Benz has just dropped a super-exclusive bomb in the form of the elusive AMG GT Black Series in India, by officially launching the track-oriented supercar for Rs 5.5 crores (ex-showroom, India). With this, the AMG GT Black Series has become the most expensive and fastest car in the current lineup of Mercedes Benz in India.

But here’s a catch – only two units of the Mercedes AMG GT Black Series have been allotted for India. The first unit of the supercar, which is finished in a shade of white with gloss black and carbon fibre inserts on the exterior, has been delivered to Boopesh Reddy, a renowned car enthusiast from Karnataka. The second unit of the car, the details of which are scarce for the time being, will be delivered in the next month.

Mercedes AMG GT Black features

The Mercedes AMG GT Black Series is based on the ‘regular’ AMG GT but gets a host of design updates to make it look even sportier and track-focused. The changes to the exterior of the AMG GT Black Series start with the larger Pan Americana front grille with vertical gloss black slats. The car uses an extensive amount of carbon fibre for the air scoops and its surrounds on the front bonnet, front splitter, rear view mirrors, roof, extended side skirts, rear wing spoiler, rear diffuser and tailgate.

The carbon fibre panels on the bonnet accommodate large air vents in its scoops to enhance downforce and engine cooling at higher speeds. The car also has slanted air outlets on the front fenders, a lighter-in-weight rear windscreen, bigger brakes and 19-inches front and 20-inches rear 10-spoke forged alloy wheels.
