The cat is almost out of the box. Nissan is gradually revealing details of its highly anticipated Magnite SUV. Earlier, the Japanese automaker had shared the boot capacity, ground clearance and engine specs of the SUV. The kerb weight makes it the lightest in the segment and coupled with the powerful motors, it should be delivering nimble ride. Another positive with the Magnite is the tyres – it gets 16-inchers standard across the trim. However, the selection between steel wheels and alloys depends on the variant you opt for.

The Nissan Magnite SUV would be priced very aggressively as it shares its underpinning with the Renault Triber. It should start around Rs 5.40 lakh which will undercut the pricing of all its rivals by a huge margin.

With that pricing and incredible features in its kitty, the Magnite will be giving a run for money to the Maruti Vitara Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV300, Ford EcoSport and Toyota Urban Cruiser.
