Here’s the list of cars owned by Superstar Rajinikanth.
If we talk about celebrities in India, there are very few who have been at the peak of their career ever since it started and perhaps will be till they retire. However, Rajinikanth is one such superstar that the entire nation knows about. He is considered a living God in South of India and this is because of his stellar performances along with down-to-earth celebrity stature. The God of cinema also has quite a talk worthy car collection, which we will explore today.
The most humble car in Rajinikanth’s garage is Premier Padmini and it is also the first car that he bought, owning it since the early 1980s. What’s more striking is that Thalaiva has maintained in beautifully and kept it in top-notch condition. The Padmini was assembled in India by Premier Automobiles, however, originally it is a Fiat. The car is powered by a 1.1-litre engine and it is indeed a rare one in the country now.

Another humble vehicle that Rajinikanth proudly owns is the Hindustan Motors Ambassador, which is based on the old Oxford series III model which was manufactured by Morris Motors Limited in the UK. This particular vehicle has been used by bureaucrats in India for decades and that is why this car gets a strong identity of its own. Peugeot has now bought the brand and hopefully we get to see a new Ambassador in the coming time.

Honda Civic was quite a popular car among motoring enthusiasts in India for years. However, after sometime, it went out of production but the carmaker brought it back in a new and better avatar. If we talk about the one that Rajinikanth has, it is an older generation model which is powered by a 1.8-litre i-VTEC engine that makes 130 bhp.
The best-selling car from the Japanese manufacturer, Toyota Innova is the pride of many Indian owners and also a part of Rajinikanth’s car garage. The vehicle offers a great level of comfort and reliability in the MPV segment, which gives it the popularity it deserves. Rajinikanth has the previous generation of Toyota Innova with a 2.5-litre diesel engine. He has been seen using this car on a number of occasions, which shows his humble nature.
The God of Kollywood, Rajinikanth also owns a BMW X5, which comes in five and seven seater configurations. The superstar owns the top-end model of this car that comes with a sunroof. The car is powered by a 3.0-litre inline six-cylinder engine that produces 258 bhp and 580 Nm.
Apart from this luxury car, Rajinikanth also owns a Mercedes-Benz G-Class, Rolls Royce Phantom, Rolls Royce Ghost, and a custom-built limousine that is reportedly worth over Rs 22 crore.
