Active, Ambition or Style? Which variant of Skoda Kushaq SUV is good for you? Let us find out in this Skoda Kushaq variant comparison.

Skoda Kushaq Exterior Features

The Skoda Kushaq is the latest entrant in the premium compact SUV category, a segment that has seen a lot of action in the last half a decade. One of the most significant models from Skoda for its India 2.0 plan, the Kushaq is offered as a petrol-only model, with three different variants to choose from – Active, Ambition and Style.

All the three variants of the Skoda Kushaq come with a 1.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine coupled (115 PS of power and 178 Nm of torque) to a 6-speed manual gearbox as standard. However, in the mid-spec Ambition and top-spec Style variants, this engine can be had with a 6-speed automatic gearbox as well.

The more powerful and sophisticated 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol engine (150 PS of power and 250 Nm of torque), which is being offered with both 6-speed manual and 7-speed dual-clutch automatic (DSG) gearbox options, will be available only in the range-topping Style variant.

The details of all the three variants of the Skoda Kushaq, with the comfort, convenience and safety features available in them, are as follows:

Skoda Kushaq Active

Skoda Kushaq launched in India

Available with: 1.0-liter petrol and 6-speed manual (1.0 TSI MT)

Price: Rs. 10.50 lakh (1.0 TSI MT)

The Active 1.0 TSI MT is the most basic and entry-level variant in the entire lineup of Skoda Kushaq in India. While this base variant commands a hefty premium of almost Rs. 50,000 over the base variants of its chief rivals, the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos, it is a much well-equipped variant over them.

On the outside, the Skoda Kushaq Active comes with daytime running LEDs, chrome-finished grille, black roof rails, body-colored door handles and outside rear view mirrors, matt black B and C pillars, black diffusers at front and rear, side body molding and wheel caps for its 16-inch wheels.

The interior cabin of the Skoda Kushaq Active is decently equipped with power windows, tilt and telescopic adjustable two-spoke steering wheel with audio and Bluetooth controls, 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 6-speakers, gloss black finish for AC vents, chrome finish on gear lever, remote central locking, front center armrest with storage, map pockets and bottle holders in front doors, fabric seats and back pockets in front seats.

Apart from the compulsory inclusions of dual airbags, reverse parking sensors and ABS with EBD, the Skoda Kushaq Active also gets electronic stability control, multi-collision braking, electronic differential lock system, anti-slip regulator, rollover protection and ISOFIX mounts for child seats.
