The reincarnated version of the Fortuner SUV will be sold side-by-side with the Fortuner in Toyota showroom across India. To be positioned above the Fortuner, the Legender will be the updated version with all-new frontage and long equipment list. It will come with a powerful 2.8L turbo diesel engine that will blow a big 204hp of power.
Exteriors combining brute yet premium stance
The outside of the Legender will carry reasonable differences against the ongoing Fortuner and will have its own unique stance. To be sold as a more premium vehicle with superior off-road skills, it will hold a different rear and side profile.
Although the regular Fortuner is also due for an update however it will be a mild one rather than holistic. Still, the Legender will manage to create its own space and significance with its sharp, rakish look, high bumper line and deep fog lamp housing. Further, adding more excitement is the large air dams beneath the front bumper, while the large Toyota insignia placed sprightly on the bumper.
The new sharp-looking white LEDs – inspired from Lexus – coupled with the double-barrel projector headlights with sequential LED turn indicators bestow freshness and a plush look upfront. The rear faces some tweaks while the sides are racked up with the new 20-inch wheels.
