Harley-Davidson launches Low Rider, Deluxe and Fat Boy 114 in IndiaHarley Davidson has launched three new motorcycles. The company’s range of bikes now gets a Soft Tail Deluxe which comes with a price tag of Rs. 17.99 Lakh (ex-showroom). Also joining the American motorcycle manufacturer’s range of bikes are the Soft Tail Deluxe and the Fat Boy Anniversary edition which are priced at Rs. 12.99 Lakh (ex-showroom) and Rs. 19.79 Lakh (ex-showroom), respectively. The bikes will be on sale nationwide, starting from March 1st.

The Soft Tail Low Rider gets “Radiate cast” 19-inch aluminium wheel at the front and a 16-inch wheel at the rear. The refreshed design includes fuel tank graphics and it also gets a dual tank-mounted instrument cluster. Other design elements include headlight visor and two-into-shotgun exhaust.

Softail Deluxe gets a large LED headlamp which sits between two auxiliary lamps. There are noticeable lashings of chrome all over the motorcycle and it also gets swept back mudguards. The Harley Davidson Softail Classic was discontinued last year and the Deluxe is its successor.

The Soft Tails get a 45-degree, 1745cc, V-Twin engine which has been dubbed ‘the new Milwaukee-Eight’. The frame of the motorcycles is much lighter as compared to the previous model and the new bikes also get Showa Dual Bending Valve (SDBC) front forks and a monoshock at the rear for the suspension setup.

Coming to the Fat Boy, changes include new graphics, LED headlamp, solid disc wheels which are wrapped in fatter tyres. Harley Davidson Fat Boy Anniversary edition gets a larger 1868cc V-Twin motor.

The company has confirmed that it will revise the prices of its CVO and touring ranges of motorcycles. The Road King will now cost Rs 24.99 Lakh (ex-showroom), the Street Glide Special will be priced at Rs. 29.99 Lakh (ex-showroom), the Road Glide Special will be offered for 32.99 Lakh (ex-showroom) and lastly CVO will get a price tag of Rs. 49.99 Lakh (ex-showroom).
