Hero To Launch New Motorcycles, Passion Pro, Xpro Likely On December 21

2018 Passion Pro and Passion Xpro will borrow Splendor iSmart’s 109.15cc engine. The 2018 Super Splendor will feature automatic headlight on (AHO).

Hero MotoCorp Launch New Motorcycles

Hero MotoCorp, the leading Indian two-wheeler manufacturer is all set to introduce its three new motorcycles in India on 21st December 2017. It is likely that the bike maker will launch the revamped Hero Passion Pro i3S and Super Splendor 125, and reintroduce Hero Passion XPro. Already, the Splendor and the Passion badges have been the fortune makers for the bike manufacturer, and with these three new bikes, the company is sure to give the rivals a run for money.

Compared to the outgoing model,  the 2018 Hero Passion Pro is anticipated to receive some changes in the engine besides getting some cosmetic updates. The new Hero Passion Pro is expected to borrow Hero Splendor iSmart’s 109.15cc, air-cooled engine that churns maximum power of 9.5 bhp and maximum torque of 9 Nm.

Hero Super Splendor 125 is the second model that is expected to launch in the domestic auto-market. This new Super Splendor 125 will get the i3S technology that will make it more fuel efficient than the outgoing model. The appearance is also expect to receive major changes with new features like 3-pod instrument cluster and automatic headlight on (AHO) adding to the list. Other than this, the bike will also get improved suspensions – Telescopic fork up front and Rear shock absorber. It will get 124.7cc, air-cooled engine that is a BS IV complaint and produces maximum power of 9 bhp along with peak torque of 10.35 Nm.

The 2018 Hero Passion Xpro will be another bike expected to launch on 21st December. It was discontinued back in March this year and is now going to be reintroduced with a high powering 109.15cc engine borrowed from the Hero Splendor iSmart 110. The motorcycle is also expected to receive some styling alterations.

You can expect a price rise in the 2018 Hero Passion Pro; currently being sold at Rs. 54,244 (Ex-showroom Delhi). The 2018 Passion Xpro is anticipated to launch in the price range of Rs. 56,000 – 58,000 while the 2018 Super Splendor might be tagged more than its current price of Rs. 56,215 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
