Lamborghini Urus Graphite Capsule Edition brought to India

Lamborghini has launched a more special variant of its best-selling product not only in India, but around the world, the Urus SUV. The new Lamborghini Urus Graphite Capsule Edition comes with a host of cosmetic enhancements in and out. This new special variant of the SUV has been launched as a more premium variant over the standard Urus.

Exterior

The major difference on the outside of the Lamborghini Urus Graphite Capsule Edition over the regular version is the new list of matte color schemes. These are namely Nero Noctis (matte black), Grigio Keres (matte silver), Grigio Nimbus (matte grey) and Bianco Monocerus (matte white).

Each of these exterior paint schemes can be color coded with either of the three contrasting colors – yellow, orange and green – on some of the exterior bits, like front splitter, rear spoiler, door sills, exhaust tips and rear diffuser. Compared to the 21-inch wheel options on the regular Urus, the Lamborghini Urus Graphite Capsule Edition rides on bigger 23-inch Taigete alloys.

Interior

The overall layout of the Lamborghini Urus Graphite Capsule Edition has been kept similar to that of the regular version of the Urus. However, it is the choice of materials and color coded bits which make the cabin feel a bit different and more special.

The overall cabin of the Lamborghini Urus Graphite Capsule Edition has a dual tone theme of black and the contrasting color option selected for the exterior bits mentioned above. This contrast touch is carried out for seats, door panels, steering wheel and center console. In addition, the dashboard gets black anodized aluminium finish and premium matte carbon fiber inserts, the former of which is also present on the door panels as well.

The seats of the Lamborghini Urus Graphite Capsule Edition come with a custom hexagonal Q-citura stitching in the contrast shade of the exterior color coded bits and Urus embroidered logo. The only comfort feature it gets over the standard Urus is ventilated Alcantara leather seats at front.

Powertrain

There are no mechanical changes under the hood of the Lamborghini Urus Graphite Capsule Edition over the regular Urus. This special edition Urus too gets a 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 petrol engine, which makes 641 bhp of maximum power and 850 Nm of maximum torque output.  A four-wheel drive steering system and an all-wheel drive system is offered as standard in this SUV, with 60 per cent of the power produced being set to the rear wheels. This version of the Urus too is capable of hitting a maximum speed mark of 305 kmph, with the 0-100 kmph sprint doable in 3.6 seconds.

Competition

Brought to India through CBU route, the Lamborghini Urus Graphite Capsule Edition is positioned as a direct rival over other performance oriented luxury SUVs like Aston Martin DBX, Maserati Levante, Audi RSQ8, Mercedes Benz G63 AMG and Bentley Bentayga.
