Maruti Suzuki Wagon R Review

Maruti Suzuki Wagon R is one of the highest selling Japanese hatchbacks. It was one of the first cars to incorporate the tall boy design which uses a tall body and a small bonnet layout to maximize interior space. The second generation of this car which is being sold in India has immense popularity amongst the masses and it is available in petrol, CNG and automatic variant. In this review, we will try and find out if Wagon R can keep up with another offering available in the Indian market.

Price List

In terms of the pricing, Wagon R is not as impressive as some of the latest offerings like the Renault Kwid or even the Tata Tiago which come at a very competitive price tag and are loaded with a host of modern features. The car comes with a very sturdy Automatic transmission, plenty of space, courtesy of its design and the support of Maruti network which assists it in maintaining its value over time.

Exterior

Maruti Wagon R Exterior

Exterior of the car remained substantially unchanged since its introduction with the exception of the minor facelifts. But there are slight improvements in the design and shape of the recent version. The car is well drawn with the flowing lines and is much more appealing. Even the rear profile is given a classy stance by removing all those boxy impressions. Top-end trims are blessed with the gunmetal grey alloy wheels.
