Suzuki Intruder 150 Launched at Rs 98,340 (Ex-showroom Delhi)

Suzuki Intruder 150 price has been kept quite aggressive despite its premium looks; sharing the same Gixxer engines, the Intruder mileage is expected to be around 45-50kmpl.

Suzuki Intruder 150 sports-cruiser bike has been launched at a price of Rs 98,340 (ex-showroom, New Delhi). The new Intruder 150 will be pitted against Bajaj Avenger 150. With the launch, it has now becomes the second cruiser styled motorcycle in the popular 150-160cc segment.

With the new Suzuki Intruder 150 launch, the company is looking forward to grab a large chunk of the sales pie. Suzuki India has now 3 models in the same segment. The bike has appealing style, decent mileage and reliable mechanicals.

Features

When it comes to appearance, the new Intruder 150 though is not the exact replica of the M-1800, but at some places, it reminds us of this big daddy of all the other power cruisers. Starting from the front, the motorcycle gets a huge headlamp which is angled downward, raised handlebar along with chrome plated rear view mirror. On the side, Intruder 150 has been provided huge tank extensions while the two-piece seats give a comfortable riding position. The rear looks attractive with stylish dual exhausts and LED taillamp.

Engine, Specifications & Mileage

The bike is powered by 155cc, air cooled, single cylinder SOHC engine that pumps out 14.8 PS @8000 rpm and 14Nm of torque @6000 rpm. It’s the same engine performing its duty in Gixxer series motorcycles. The power is send through 5-speed manual transmission system. The Intruder mileage should fall in the vicinity of 45-50kmpl as similar engine utilising Gixxer claims 48.5kmpl.

Design & Style

The new Suzuki 150 Intruder comes with aerodynamic design and packed with features such as raised digital speedo cluster, electric start, alloy wheels, twin exhaust, stylish decals and LED taillamps. In the safety department, it comes loaded with front and rear disc brakes and ABS (single channel).

Dimensions

Intruder 150 is crafted on the same Gixxer platform. In terms of dimensions, the motorcycle is 2130mm long, 805mm wide and 1095mm tall. Its ground clearance is 170 mm with the wheelbase of 1405mm and seat height of 740mm. The cruiser comes with a fuel tank capacity of 11 liters.

The new Intruder 150 cc lends quite a different look never seen before in the segment. It looks very promising and will hopefully be repeating the success of the Gixxer twins.
