Apart from the four colours from the previous version – Oxford Blue, Auburn Red, Arctic White and Magma Grey, the new Ertiga is also available in two new colour options  – Splendid Silver and Dignity Brown.

2022 Maruti Suzuki Ertiga – Interior Changes

Maruti Suzuki has introduced only two changes in the cabin of the new Ertiga. A new 7-inch Smartplay Pro infotainment system, which made its debut in the Baleno a couple of months ago, has made its way in the Ertiga as well. Also new to the cabin is a new metallic teak wooden finish, which has replaced the light brown faux wood inserts. The automatic variants of the Ertiga are also benefitted from paddle shifters behind the steering wheel. The top-spec variants also get side airbags, in addition to the standard dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, reverse parking sensors and ISOFIX mounts for child seats

2022 Maruti Suzuki Ertiga – Powertrain Changes

The new Maruti Suzuki Ertiga is the first model from the carmaker to get the updated 1.5-litre four-cylinder naturally-aspirated K-Series petrol engine. Featuring DualJet technology, the engine now produces a maximum power output of 103 bhp and a peak torque output of 136.8 Nm. While the engine is lower on torque than before, it has become more fuel-efficient in the process, with 20.51 kmpl for manual versions and 20.3 kmpl for automatic versions. While a 5-speed manual gearbox is offered as standard, the automatic variants now get a 6-speed torque converter in place of the older 4-speed torque converter.

The power and torque output further drop to 87.8 bhp of power and 121.5 Nm of torque in the pure CNG mode. The CNG variants come with a 5-speed manual gearbox as standard and return a fuel efficiency of 26.11 km/kg.
