Tata Punch Custom Packs

The Tata Punch is finally here, and with the prices out now, it seems like a great proposition between smaller micro-SUVs like Maruti Ignis and Mahindra KUV100 and slightly bigger sub-four metre SUVs like Nissan Magnite and Renault Kiger. The fresh and distinctive styling, decent features and great pricing of the Tata Punch do make up for a good recipe for the next blockbuster product from Tata Motors.

The new Tata Punch has been launched in four different variants – Pure, Adventure, Accomplished and Creative, all of which are powered by a 1.2-litre three-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine. All the variants come with a 5-speed manual gearbox and save for the base Pure variant, the other three variants can be had with a 5-speed AMT as well.

Following is a complete description of what all features are present in each variant of the Tata Punch:

Tata Punch Pure

This is the base variant of the Tata Punch, and as expected, it looks and feels pretty basic. On the safety front, it feels complete with dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, brake sway control, ISOFIX mounts for child seats and reverse parking sensors. However, the variant feels built-to-cost, with the only other features being chrome garnish on the front grille, body cladding all around, LED turn indicators on rearview mirrors, front power windows and tilt-adjustable steering wheel.

However, there’s an optional ‘Rhythm’ pack for this variant, which adds a couple of essential features like an audio system with four speakers and audio and Bluetooth controls on the steering wheel. This kit is priced at Rs 35,000, and if chosen, the price of the Pure variant shoots up to Rs 5.84 lakh.
