2022 Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 Standard LXI vs VXI vs VXI Plus
During the transition to BS6 emission norms, Maruti Suzuki discontinued the Alto K10 to give a push to the newly-launched S-Presso. However, not many people connected with the quirky design language of the S-Presso, and rooted for the comeback of the Alto K10. Maruti Suzuki paid attention to the feedback and has relaunched the Alto K10 in an all-new form in and out.
With a new exterior design and completely new interior, the new Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 has been launched and positioned between the existing 800cc Alto and S-Presso. This time, there are four variants of the Alto K10 to choose from – Standard, LXI, VXI and VXI+, all of which are available in six colour options – Metallic Sizzling Red, Metallic Silky Silver, Metallic Granite Grey, Pearl Metallic Earth Gold, Metallic Speedy Blue and Solid White.
All the variants of the new Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 are powered by the new-gen three-cylinder, naturally-aspirated, 1.0-litre K10C Dualjet petrol engine. This new engine produces a maximum power output of 66.6 PS and a peak torque output of 89 Nm. Also, while this engine claims a fuel efficiency of 24.39 kmpl with the 5-speed manual gearbox, the same with a 5-speed AMT gearbox is 24.90 kmpl. Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 Standard
Price: Rs 3.99 lakh (manual)
The Alto K10 Standard is the base-spec model, which follows Maruti Suzuki’s tradition of not offering even the bare-basic essentials like power steering and AC. It is a bare-bones model, which is only complete with standard safety features like dual airbags, ABS with EBD, reverse parking sensors and an engine immobilizer. It gets a few nifty features like a digital speedometer and 1-litre bottle holders and map pockets in the front doors.

Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 LXI
Price: Rs. 4.82 lakh (manual)
If you can stretch your budget and still want a base-variant feels in the Alto K10, we strongly recommend you consider the LXI variant over the Standard one. The Alto K10 LXI gets the crucial add-ons of manual AC and power steering, along with body-coloured front and rear bumpers. However, it does not get any other comfort and convenience features over the Standard variant.

Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 VXI
Price: Rs. 5.00 lakh (manual), Rs 5.50 lakh (AMT)
If you just want all the basic and usable features while driving, the Alto K10 VXI is the most sensible option to pick. Above the LXI variant, this VXI variant of the Alto K10 receives features like manual central locking, a 2-DIN audio system with USB, Aux-in and Bluetooth supports, two speakers, trip computer, front power windows, internally-adjustable outside rearview mirrors, 12V power socket, wheel caps for the 13-inch steel wheels and body-coloured outside door handles.
Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 VXI+
Price: Rs. 5.34 lakh (manual), Rs 5.84 lakh (AMT)
It is the range-topping variant of the new Maruti Suzuki Alto and gets a few new-age features over the VXI variant, which include a 7-inch Smartplay Studio touchscreen infotainment system with Apple Carplay and Android Auto as its highlighted feature. It also gets two additional speakers, remote central locking and a silver finish for the inside door handles, steering wheel inserts and centre console inserts.
