2022 Toyota Glanza price in india

Just a few days after Maruti Suzuki updated the Baleno hatchback, Toyota has also updated its badge-engineered version sold under its umbrella, the Glanza. However, unlike before, the new Toyota Glanza gets an entirely front fascia with a sleeker grille, revised headlamps and a redesigned front bumper. ON the inside too, the new Glanza gets a different black and beige upholstery, unlike the black and blue upholstery in the Baleno.

However, the differences end here only, as all the four variants of the new Toyota Glanza – E, S, G and V – are based on the respective variants of the new Baleno – Sigma, Delta, Zeta and Alpha. All these four variants of the Toyota Glanza get the same 1.2-litre four-cylinder K12N petrol engine from the Baleno, which produces a higher power output of 90 PS and a peak torque output of 113 Nm. The engine is available with a 5-speed manual and 5-speed AMT gearbox options, with the latter being the first for a Toyota product in India.

Following are all the variants of the new Toyota Glanza, and what all features they come equipped with:

Toyota Glanza E

Price – Rs 6.39 lakh (manual)

It is the new base-spec variant of the Toyota Glanza, which was earlier available only in higher-spec G and V variants. Based on the Sigma variant of the new Baleno, the Toyota Glanza E gets halogen projector headlamps and a rear defogger on the outside. Step into the cabin, and you are welcomed with a comprehensive instrument console with tachometer and MID, all-four power windows, automatic climate control and tilt-adjustable steering wheel in the Toyota Glanza E. The essential safety features like dual front airbags, ABS with EBD and brake assist, remote central locking and reverse parking sensors are available from this base variant itself in the new Glanza. It is the only variant in the Toyota Glanza lineup, which is not offered with the optional AMT gearbox.

The cabin of the S variant also gets additional features, such as a 7-inch Smartplay Studio infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple Carplay, four speakers for the audio system, a multi-functional steering wheel with audio and Bluetooth controls, electrically adjustable and foldable rearview mirrors and a rear parcel tray.
