2022 Maruti Suzuki XL6 Zeta vs Alpha vs Alpha Plus

Maruti Suzuki has introduced a mild update to its flagship offering in India, the XL6 six-seater MPV. A more rugged and heavily restyled version of the Ertiga MPV, the new XL6 comes with a host of new features and a revised powertrain under its hood. There is a new 1.5-litre four-cylinder naturally-aspirated K15C petrol engine, which produces 103 bhp of maximum power and 136.8 Nm of maximum torque. While a 5-speed manual gearbox continues to be standard, the new XL6 now comes with a new 6-speed torque converter which has replaced the ageing 4-speed torque converter.

The new Maruti Suzuki XL6 is now available with three different variants – Zeta, Alpha and a new range-topping Alpha+. The list of colour options is revised as well, with the MPV now getting six single-tone and three dual-tone colour options. The monotone colour options are namely Opulent Red, Nexa Blue, Splendid Silver, Grandeur Grey, Arctic White and Brave Khaki.

One can also opt for a dual-tone colour option for Rs 16,000 over the regular Alpha+ variants. There are three dual-tone colour options exclusive for this variant – Splendid Silver with Black, Brave Khaki with Black and Opulent Red with Black. In these dual-tone variants, the roof, rear spoiler, A-pillars and outside rearview mirrors are painted in gloss black.

Here, we have compiled all the variants in which the new Maruti Suzuki XL6 has been made available, and what features these variants come with, in particular.
