The micro-SUV from Tata is available in four variants – Pure, Adventure, Accomplished and Creative. Apart from a standard 5-speed manual, there is an optional 5-speed AMT from the Adventure variant onwards.

The Tata Punch is also available in a Kaziranga Special Edition. Based on the top-spec Creative variant, the Kaziranga Special Edition gets an exclusive Grassland Beige paint scheme with gloss black roof and mirrors and new dual-tone upholstery with faux wood inserts on the inside. The engine option powering the Tata Punch is a 1.2-litre three-cylinder naturally-aspirated petrol engine, which is the same engine that powers other compact cars from Tata like Tiago, Tigor and Altroz. Available with the transmission options of 5-speed manual and 5-speed AMT, this engine produces a maximum power output of 86 PS, while the peak torque output is rated at 113 Nm.

Out of all the variants, the top-spec Creative variant is understandably the best-equipped variant. In its best form, the Tata Punch is equipped with features like projector headlamps with daytime running LEDs, 16-inch machined alloy wheels, fog lamps, LED tail lamps and roof rails.
